Personalised Initial & Date Decorative Slate Wall Plate
Made from natural slate, it is honed and handcrafted, meaning the colours and patterns in each plate are unique. The natural mineralisation of slate means you’ll see stunning hues of grey and silver running through the stone, with no two plates ever quite the same.
Made your way
Every element is yours to choose. Set your two initials, divided by a simple rule line, with your special date engraved beneath. Perfect for marking a wedding, anniversary or any date worth remembering. Pick the colour of your engraving to suit the occasion.
Nine hand-painted colours
Choose from nine carefully selected colours, each applied by hand. Every shade is brushed into the engraved recesses for a crisp, even finish against the slate. Three of those are metallics — gold, silver and rose gold. These have a small additional charge and create a beautiful light-catching finish, shifting and glowing as the light moves across the face of the plate.
Sandblasted in our Norfolk studio
Each plate is engraved in-house at our Norfolk studio by skilled engravers with years of experience working with stone. We hand-mask every design before sandblasting it into the surface. This creates deep, clean V-shaped lettering, rather than simply scratching the surface.
The result is beautifully defined lettering with genuine depth and natural shadow, designed to stand the test of time — a lasting keepsake of the day it marks.

Every piece is hand-engraved and made to order right here in our workshop. Please allow 3-4 weeks from point of order for delivery.
If you need delivery sooner for a special occasion or celebration, do let us know as all of our engraving is done in house, so we will work with you to do our best to achieve delivery in time for you.
Your order will be delivered by a 3rd party network, you should receive text message updates regarding the progress of your delivery from the courier directly.
For some lighter products (subject to weight and size), we may be able to offer a couple of delivery options. You may have the choice between a courier parcel or a pallet service, though we always suggest using a pallet service to keep your order as safe as possible during delivery.
