The Abalone is a sculptural vase. It works just as well as a standalone presentation piece as it does holding flowers. Its lean, simple silhouette gives it a contemporary feel. Meanwhile, the honed, smooth finish shows off the natural properties of the slate at their finest.

It also makes a beautiful way to keep your dried wedding flowers. Simply have us engrave your name and date onto the face of the vase. Then keep your bouquet or dried arrangement inside — a lasting piece that holds both the flowers and the memory of the day.

Made your way

Every element is yours to choose. Set your names, a date, or a short message. Then pick the colour of your engraving to suit. Each vase also displays its own natural finish, with hues of grey, copper and silver running through the stone. So your piece will be entirely unique.

Nine hand-painted colours

Choose from nine carefully selected colours. We apply each one by hand, brushing it into the engraved recesses for a crisp, even finish against the stone. Three of those are metallics — gold, silver and rose gold. These carry a small additional charge, but they create a beautiful light-catching finish. As the light moves across the vase, the metallic shifts and glows.

Sandblasted in our Norfolk studio

We engrave every vase in-house, at our Norfolk studio, using skilled engravers with years of experience working with stone. First, we hand-mask your design. Then we sandblast it into the surface, creating a clean, well-defined mark rather than simply scratching the surface. The result is beautifully defined lettering with genuine depth and natural shadow, built to stand the test of time.

Every piece is hand-engraved and made to order right here in our workshop. Please allow 3-4 weeks from point of order for delivery.

If you need delivery sooner for a special occasion or celebration, do let us know as all of our engraving is done in house, so we will work with you to do our best to achieve delivery in time for you.

Your order will be delivered by a 3rd party network, you should receive text message updates regarding the progress of your delivery from the courier directly.

For some lighter products (subject to weight and size), we may be able to offer a couple of delivery options. You may have the choice between a courier parcel or a pallet service, though we always suggest using a pallet service to keep your order as safe as possible during delivery.
