Cut from an ancient stone with ‘Fossil’ fern and tree motifs, this plaque is a natural masterpiece. These beautiful patterns are a natural phenomenon called mineral dendrites, created when manganese and iron oxides seep between the bedding layers of the rock. Each plaque is a substantial 40mm thick and will display random, entirely unique, markings.

Made your way
Make it completely your own. Choose your text, whether simple and striking or more complex and meaningful. This personalised plaque could denote a home bar or office, create a stunning memorial, mark a special occasion or simply display a house name and number.

You can choose your lettering and design colours separately. Keep them tonal for a timeless, understated look, or contrast them for something with a little more impact. Classic black, as pictured, gives a crisp, high-contrast finish against the creamy stone.

Hand-painted colours
Choose from nine carefully selected colours, each applied by hand. Every shade is brushed into the engraved recesses for a crisp, even finish against the tile. Three of those are metallics: gold, silver and rose gold. These have a small additional charge and create a beautiful light-catching finish. They shift and glow as the sun moves across the face of the sign, and are especially striking against the Fossil stone.

Sandblasted in our Norfolk studio
Each tile is engraved in-house at our Norfolk studio by skilled engravers with years of experience. We hand-mask every design before sandblasting it into the surface. This creates clean, deeply cut lines and lettering, rather than simply scratching the surface.
The result is beautifully defined detail with genuine depth and natural shadow, designed to remain clear and legible, truly standing the test of time.
