Fen Glade

WELCOME TO THE FEN GLADE

Foras have always endeavoured to provide a shopping experience like no other, the latest addition to the company’s extensive show gardens is the idyllic Fen Glade, a beautiful 4-acre natural woodland bursting with stunning scenery and wonderful wildlife. Leading on from the Juniper Sky garden the Fen Glade has been naturally enhanced with the addition of cut pathways and wildflowers. Maintaining a woodland takes a lot of work, making sure the trees have a chance to grow strong and healthy by ensuring they all have room to expand, keeping the pathways cut and the flowers in optimum health.

Fen Glade is an idyllic space, perfect for a post purchase stroll.

Fenway Yurt

THE FENWAY YURT

The Fenway Yurt was designed and built by the Foras team. It includes a selection of our exclusive tiles & flagstones, showcasing what can be achieved when mixing different tones and styles. Built with all locally sourced natural and reclaimed materials the yurt has been designed to be as carbon neutral as possible. The addition of a living roof, which will continue to grow and flourish, adds to this. The yurt will continue to expand and develop with the eventual aim of providing a hireable space for those wishing to visit Foras from afar, creating the ultimate exclusive shopping experience.

Please subscribe to our mailing list to follow the story of the yurt and be the first to know when it is available to hire!

FEN GLADE TRAILS

Foras customers can also follow two exclusive trails through the Fen Glade. The first is a short loop walk which stays within the Glade itself, the second a longer walk across the fields. The land is owned and farmed by Foras and as such the trail is not a public right of way.

Walk up the steps from the Glade and out onto the Big Skies Viewpoint. Form here you can really appreciate Norfolk’s famed ‘big skies’ you can see the clouds for miles and may even be able to pick out an incoming weather front. The trail then leads on through the fields to a thicket named ‘Owl Perch Row’ perfect for wildlife spotting. From this the trail leads to a wide open area called the ‘Derby Run’ which is where the local deer run together.
