Invented circa the 3rd Century BC, armillary spheres traditionally consist of spherical frameworks of rings representing longitude and latitude, as well as other astronomically important features, all centred around the Earth or the sun. They were also used heavily in renaissance art to represent wisdom and culture.

The bold imposing solid steel is enhanced by a clear coated lacquer which really catches the light, whilst providing a protective sheen.
